Our windows look great and the team who installed them did a fantastic (and fast) job. David from the team has also been very responsive and helpful before, during, and after the window installation.

However, I was very disappointed with how the manager and company failed to honour the payment terms stated on our agreement and the manager even threatened to put a lien on our home following our initial 15% deposit. While I would have otherwise happily waited for the company to try and fail to put a lien on our house in court, I was pregnant and would not have wanted to deal with the hassle with a newborn and toddler in my house. Our contract explicitly stated the outstanding payment would be upon completion of the greener homes loan. I now realize that the company may have agreed to these terms in error because the person who signed it did not know it would take so long for the loan to go through (I also did not know the loan would take so long to receive). The company offered bridge financing from a third party for 3 months, but, because the Greener Homes Loan was so slow to process, the 3 months would not have been long enough and we would have been stuck paying horrendous interest on the loan. Luckily, we found financing elsewhere.

In spite of this stressful experience, especially with the manager, I would recommend the company if you have the money available to finance the windows and if you do not need to customize the financing terms (as they may not be honoured based on my experience).

Highly recommend this company - everything was wonderful from the first visit to the installation. Not only was the service exceptional the cost was considerably cheaper than several other quotes we had for the same windows!

I am very pleased with my new entry door. Rob helped me choose the type of door and also the colour I wanted. He also helped me when picking the hardware for the door. Very competitive pricing, great customer service and knowledge by our sales rep Jerry, and the team were fantastic installing quality windows.

My husband and I hired Consumer Direct Windows and Doors to replace all of our 30-year-old windows. I must admit it was an intimidating experience given it is probably the most expensive "necessary" reno however David walked us through the process (government grants) and most importantly insurance on his product and services. David was always available to talk to us no matter the time of day or the type of question. He made recommendations where we could save money and so on. Not only did he replace the windows, but his company also does siding which is great because our old siding color no longer matched the new beautiful windows. The crew that came to do it was Vitaly's crew. I can't find enough good things to say about these guys. They were very professional, efficient, worked with quality and kept my house so clean. The job took a day (all day) but they got it done and we could not be happier. Highly recommend Consumer Direct Windows and Doors and ask for Vitaly if possible. We will have to replace our doors at some point and we will be going back to David for sure.

We decided to replace all of our windows, I researched and received quotes from five different window companies. Consumers Direct came in with a competitive price and the salesman was east to deal with. Even after the contract was signed and before the manufacturing began we made some changes to our order, the salesman was very helpful and accommodating. The installers were great and the gentlemen working on the inside trim was very creative in any problems he came across and always discussed it with us before he went ahead and his ideas were spot on, the window are trimmed great and look fantastic. When the installers were done the left the worksite clean and tidy. After they left I noticed a window that I wasn't sure about, they came back and addressed my concern and made sure of my satisfaction with the job and I was the windows look great both inside and out
